(A) A permit for a personal dog kennel shall be required for any person who owns, maintains or harbors seven to a maximum of 12 dogs on property not zoned for kennels. The maximum allowed dogs shall be less than 12 dogs if in the particular case the requirements of a personal dog kennel permit cannot be met for that individual dog owner. For example, a person’s lot size may not be big enough for the enclosure requirements of this chapter.

(B) The enclosure shall meet the requirements of this chapter.

(C) Any person who owns, maintains or harbors six or fewer dogs over four months of age is not required to obtain a personal dog kennel permit. (Ord. 358 § 1, passed 10-12-2016. Code 2012 § 95.03(C).)
