(A) Pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-462 et seq., San Luis may enact an ordinance authorizing county zoning to continue in effect until municipal zoning is applied to land previously zoned by the county and annexed by the municipality, but in no event for longer than 12 months after the annexation.

(B) When annexing an area, the City may adopt City of San Luis zoning classifications that permit densities and uses no greater than those permitted by the county immediately before the annexation. Subsequent changes in zoning of the annexed territory shall be made according to existing procedures established by the City for the annexing of land. (Ord. 312 § 2(4.4), passed 4-11-2012.
